What is Celluma and how does it work?
LED light emitted by the Celluma device gets absorbed into the skin as photons. These high energy photons are transformed into usable energy, ATP, in skin cells. ATP is the energy currency of our cells. Our cells use ATP to synthesize DNA, RNA, proteins, and more!

Celluma for Acne
Mandie also recommends Celluma LED therapy for her acne patients. She programs the Celluma to emit specific wavelengths of light scientifically proven to reduce inflammation and kills the P. acnes bacteria that causes acne. Patients can receive this treatment on its own or as an add-on treatment after a customized acne facial or microdermabrasion.
How often is treatment recommended?
